During our investigation of the application “Kontacto”, we reviewed two versions of the mobile app.

Both versions included a reference to the domain “kontactows.co“

The application lacks any traces to its author, no (C) Copyright messages, e-mail or other form of contact details can be found in the App. But searching in the whois service of the domain registrar “Go Daddy” we found.
Contact details of the domain name kontactows.co point to “Jhonny Castaño Munoz” that works with the company Trans Life SAS (NIT: 900244336 – 1) that in the past delivered the Census software “Sondeox” (2017) to the department of Risaralda, Colombia.
The company has a website “under construction” for the past two years translife.com.co

In order to confirm the information coming from the whois service, we visited the Trans Life address and confirmed that their office is in Office 207 but there is no signs in the front door of the company name/logo and the company name is not known by the ground floor receptionist.
